  I understand what you are trying to say..They were only NGO's .(As far as we know).I understand that.. I'm really not a dummy..

  The only thing that interests me is why they were recognized as still being a NGO member in Georgia at least a year after they resigned..get it? Either Georgia is lying..or the WTBTS signed up again..and I don't think they did as they are no longer listed under NGO's

  I saw that!..I noticed they had several articles also about the Catholic religion and their lawsuits... I noticed too that they were spaced far apart..They should lump them all together.

  I noticed another short article with the title "What words really say!"

  When it comes to child abuse , the language we use can distort the reality of the crime and create a roadblock to justice. The next time you hear a news report, keep in mind what the following terms actually mean ..and the consequences of the conduct described.

  They listed several examples of the justice system and how it dealt with the issue.
  One example was how a Judge spared a predatory pedophile a long prison sentence on the grounds that "It takes two to tango".
  Another one grants work release to a sex offender, declaring that the 5 year old victim was "unusually promiscuous."
  They go on to say..why is a child called a "child prostitute" instead of a "prostituted child?" The wording has a big impact. It implies that they "Volunteer" to have sex with adults in exchange for cash, (Which of course, the children never see).
  These are the words being used by the press..notice the term "Fondling"..when is actually "Sexual assault of a child". Why term incest..non- violent?..It actually injures the victim!

  1) Pedophile: An individual with intense, recurrent sexually arousing fantasies and urges toward prepubescent children.Those that decide to act on those feeling are called "Predatory pedophiles." They often operate inside a child's circle of trust such as a teacher, doctor, scout leader, police officer, athletic coach, religious counselor or a child care professional.

  2) Fondling: Non-penetrative sexual misconduct with a child, often resulting in severe emotional damage to the victim.

  3) Molestation: Sexual assault of a child, often resulting in both physical and emotional damage.

  4) Nonviolent incest:The rape by extortion of a child by a family member, creating a climate of oppression and fear in the child's daily life that inevitably results in profound long-term damages.

  5) Intergenerational love:The sexual exploitation of a child under the guise of a consentual relationship. The pedophiles' perversion of the word "Love" is routinely promoted in all their literature as "Harmless" or even "Beneficial " to the victim.

  6) Child prostitute: A child often held captive against his or her will, who is physically and /or emotionally coerced into performing sex acts with adults for the profit of others.

  The next time you hear a news report about child abuse, keep in mind what the terms really mean...and the consequences of the conduct described.

  The reports I saw from Georgia were that in 2003 they recognized the WTBTS as still having a NGO status still....
  

  And yet the UN wrote a letter stating the WTBTS resigned from their NGO status in 2001..So the fact is..who is lying? Did the WTBTS still claim to be a NGO member to them in 2003 or is Georgia trying to cover their abusive butts by saying they had come to some agreement with the NGO laison comittee about the WTBTS in 2003 and the "Selling" of their literature..not knowing that the WTBTS had resigned from the NGO in 2001.

  Snoozy....who had to look this all up on the UN website and read all the reports to try and understand what was going on...

  They even put up a special letter concerning the fact about the WTBTS saying it had received so many inquiries about the NGO and WTBTS involvement!..And they were refusing to give out anymore information.

  Does the WTBTS still control your life?

  do you follow the arrangement dictated by the governing body of jw's regarding df'd and da'd individuals?

  do you shun the jw's like you are expected to by wt leaders or do you speak to jw's and greet them with a smile even if they shun you when you do so?

  in complying with wtbts rules of acceptable behavior for da'd or df'd persons do you think that you are showing unconditional love to your neighbor?

  it is quite interesting to note, that even the criteria for getting a ground pass at the united nations might be easier said than done!

  when i read barbara andersons description of the ground pass that had been issued to watchtower representative ciro aulicino, i decided to check and see if i could find the criteria for receiving such a special pass.

  Dogpatch, did you see the special letter the UN has on their site concerning the inquiries about the WTBTS and the NGO?

  They have a special letter posted concerning the JW involvement inquiries.

  I also pulled up the all current members and the WTBTS is listed nowhere on it.

  Unless they registered under a different name or they are trying to pass off an old application acceptance..someone is lying.

  After reading how abusing the officials are in Georgia..I would tend to think they were lying to cover their butt!..Not knowing the WTBTS pulled out of the NGO years ago.

  The next one I found is a listing of all the religions that have NGO's..unless the WTBTS is listed under a different profession..and I looked a few of them up..they are no longer considered to have the NGO status!

  You have to click ALL in the two places and a third will pop up..click all again and it will pull up all the NGO members...

  OK..so I been busy!

  And the things I found..I have two to show..opinions please! These are both from the UN website!So they are Official!

  #1 Is a special section they have put up because of SO many inquiries about the WTBTS and NGO's
